Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk (part-time)

Location: UK -CheadleHulme

Reports To: Management Accountant

Job Overview;

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic purchase ledger clerk to play a key role within a busy finance team.

Key Job Responsibilities

Primary Functions to include: -

  • Receipting and matching of invoices with purchase orders;

  • Inputting invoices on to the NAV system in a timely manner;

  • Obtaining authorisation of invoices where necessary;

  • Dealing with all supplier queries by e-mail/telephone;

  • Preparation of monthly supplier payment runs for approval by the Management Accountant;

  • Daily posting of bank payments onto NAV;

  • Processing and recording all employee expenses on NAV monthly;

  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliation;

  • Responsibility for managing the creditors ledger;

  • Posting and reconciling company credit cards;

  • Assisting with raising monthly sales invoices;

  • Acting as first point of call for the Finance Team taking inbound calls;

Required Skills

  • Previous purchase ledger/accounts payable experience

  • Good attention to detail and high accuracy skills

  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Good IT skills, including Excel and Word and preferable experience with NAV.
