Salary 18,000 per annum
Optima are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant. An opportunity has arisen to join a business that is undergoing a period of rapid growth within the leisure industry.
This position will report into the Purchase Ledger Senior and you will be responsible for maintaining accurate purchase function.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Processing purchasing documents & invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Handling supplier queries
Ensuring knowledge of outstanding issues
Reconciling supplier data
Liaising with site managers & suppliers to ensure accurate payment of invoices
Ensuring maximum efficiency with procedures by reviewing and developing the systems
Making sure all processes and systems are fully documented
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Purchase Ledger Assistant and will have excellent IT skills, particularly Excel to at least intermediate level.
You will need to be comfortable working within a fast paced environment and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will also need to be confident with dealing at all levels, a can-do attitude and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A full driving licence would also be advantageous as public transport is limited.
