Purchase Ledger Assistant - Music

Handle Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a growing, technnology-powered Music services company on a temp to perm basis in Central London. If you thrive in a fast-paced, creative and rewarding environment, and have an interest in the Music industry - then this role could be for you!

An essential role in this growing business, you will be responsible for:

  • Recording UK & US invoices received and booking these into the accounting system
  • Agreeing invoices to purchase orders and arranging payments to suppliers
  • Producing timely reports on the purchase ledger
  • Inputting data to the in-house Royalties database
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Paying Clients when statements are issued
  • Preparing bank reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

In addition to having ambition, flexibility and ability to adapt to change, the successful candidate will have; 1+ year working in a finance function, strong Excel skills, be degree educated and have a desire to begin ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification. Purchase ledger experience, and use of NetSuite is desirable.
