Purchase Ledger Administrator

Seymour John are currently working in an exclusive partnership with a manufacturing organisation based in Wednesbury to recruit a purchase ledger administrator on a permanent basis. The role has arisen due to a period of sustained growth, which has resulted in additional support being required to supplement the finance team as a whole.
Reporting directly into the organisation's management accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for the processing of both the purchase ledger and company expenses. In addition to the above, you will be required to support the finance team by reconciling the supplier accounts to supplier statements on a monthly basis, whilst taking necessary corrective actions when appropriate. Additionally you will assist with ensuring that key suppliers are paid on time. The weekly reconciliation of the companies bank accounts is key, as is the monthly monitoring reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must be actively studying towards becoming fully qualified in their AAT. A proven track record of streamlining transactional finance processes would be beneficial. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, as is the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders of the business.
