Absolute Accountancy Recruitment are delighted to be working with a multi site retail business who are seeking a Purchase Ledger/ Accounts Assistant on an a permanent basis. The role is to assist the Finance Manager with various duties during a busy period of growth. This is a part-time position, with flexible working hours which could range between 3 and 5 days.


  • Purchase Ledger
  • Reconciling multiple bank accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Prepare weekly payment run via bacs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Liaising with all the other departments to ensure all the invoices are authorised correctly.

Essential Experience

  • Sage Line 50
  • Previous Accounts Payable/Purchase ledger
  • Confident with Excel (basic to intermediate)
  • Experience of producing reports of financial/numerical information
  • Pro-active
  • Attention to detail
