Purchase Ledger/Accounts Assistant

Pure are delighted to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger to join a busy and fast paced team. This is a great opportunity to work with an established team and to learn new skills. Full training on the role will be given and the company are very open to support future studies such as AAT.

Previous Purchase or Sales Ledger experience is essential!

Responsibilities:

* Process supplier invoices
* Match purchase order receipts against invoices received
* Prepare and process manual cheque requests
* Investigate discrepancies and supplier queries
* Perform supplier reconciliations
* Process incoming and outgoing mail

Experience:

* Previous purchase ledger experience essential
* Experience of computerised ledger systems essential
* Be able to prioritise work and have good organisational skills
* The ability to work effectively under pressure and within strict deadlines
* Good communication skills with suppliers and colleagues at all levels
* A team player
