I am looking for an experienced Pub General Manager near Hereford to lead the team based in this recently refurbished pub near Hereford on a full-time, permanent basis. You will receive a competitive salary of £32,000.00 per annum plus modern accommodation and a bonus depending on experience and achievement of targets.
The Pub has built up a great reputation in the area for comfortable rooms, good food and great service. The company is a small collection of pubs across the South West and as a company they tailor for all guest types including weekend stays, and small events.
As the Pub General Manager, you will be responsible for the productivity of the pub by attracting new customers, while maintaining great relationships with existing customers. You will also be responsible along with the head office team for maximizing guest satisfaction and revenue.
The Pub Manager duties and key responsibilities:
Establish a full understanding of the pubs market place in the area.
Work closely with all departments in driving revenue and company standards
Establish a great connection the local community.
Focus on local corporate and MICE business into the hotel.
Work closely with the assistant Manager and Head Chef regarding revenue targets, forecasting and budgeting.
The ideal Pub General Manager willbe a pro-active individual who has worked as a General Manager for at least 2 years and has a great attitude and skill set in driving standards and revenue whilst maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Someone who can formulate plans that move the pub forward, anticipate potential hurdles and create action plans to overcome and or prevent them.
Ideally the Pub Manager will have a full understanding of the day to day running of a busy pub and work closely with the head chef check to ensure company standards are met both BOH and FOH.
