We are looking to recruit several Psychology Graduates to work within primary schools around Manchester.
The roles generally involve working 1:1 with individuals who need support within and outside of the classroom, particularly SEN pupils with needs such as autism and ADHD. You will provide pre-planned phonics sessions, promote positive pupil behaviour and development, and assist the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom.
As a Psychology graduate, you will have an advantageous understanding of special educational needs such as autism and ADHD. Your knowledge will help contribute to the effective formation of interventions to enable pupils to reach their full potential.
You will also have:
*Confidence and enthusiasm and a willingness to approach new tasks
*An innovative and creative approach to providing pupil support
*Experience working with children/SEN is advantageous but not essential
*An understanding of child centred education and behaviour
You will need a DBS for these roles. If you do not hold an in-date DBS, you must be willing to get one
These roles are temporary long term, Monday to Friday.
