As a SEN Teaching Assistant at this school you will be working within a specific class based on school need and your own preferences. The experienced SENCO will teach you about the excellent provision in place for SEN pupils, and you will deliver support to these pupils and help them make progress in academic, social and emotional aspects. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with struggling children who may not meet internal/external targets without your help. As part of your duties you will have the opportunity to get first-hand experience in lesson planning and delivery under the eye of the class teacher.
