A local Devizes, Wiltshire SEN specialist school is recruiting for their newest team member, for a SEN Learning Mentor. The right candidate for the SEN Learning Mentor will be supporting students over a spectrum of ages (EYFS, Primary, Secondary to further education) - aged 4 - 19 years old.

This SEN specialist school requires SEND care for the Wiltshire students, catering for higher spectrum of ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy and various other learning disabilities.

The ideal SEN Learning Mentor:

  • Experience with SEN/SEND/SENCO learning support or the ability to learn.
  • Degree/A-Level - Psychology, Criminology or Sociology.
  • Team Teach certification is a bonus! Some of the higher needs students may require mobile support.
  • Ability to cohesively manage challenging behaviour, some of the SEN students struggle to communicate.
