This PRU are looking to appoint a qualified teacher who will teach small classes of students to work with KS3 and KS4 pupils who are typically operating at KS2 levels to KS4.

The role will commence ASAP for the right candidate on a temporary basis initially to run through to the end of the academic year, with a possibility of going permanent.

The PRU are looking to appoint a candidate who holds QTS and ideally will be a trained English, Maths or Science teacher. Though excellent practitioner’s with experience or who feel confident teaching core subjects with the ability to differentiate and tailor lessons to meet all student's needs are also encouraged to apply. Behaviour can be very challenging on a daily basis and so you must be a very resilient teacher that possess' strong behaviour and classroom management as well as very good communication and interpersonal skills.

This PRU cater for students that have been excluded or are at risk of being excluded from mainstream schools in Birmingham in KS3 and KS4. As a teacher at this school you will work with relatively small group, be well supported by a dedicated team of TA’s and have real autonomy in the classroom.

This position is offered for an Easter start initially for a term with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the initial contract.
