Becoming a Provisioning Engineer with Capita IT Services
Based in Reigate OR Glasgow this role is required to join the Provisioning Engineering Team who are accountable for the creation & delivery of the plan to achieve the successful fulfilment of customer orders within Target Lead Times, maintaining a clear understanding of the impact on customer service, with all risks to service identified & mitigated against.
What you will do:
Through direct interaction with our customers, interpret & validate their requirements to enable right the first time delivery of their orders
Disaggregation of the customer order into deliverable components
Creation of the fulfilment plan to deliver all components including design (where required), carrier, network & customer build, logistics, field & transition tasks on time
Insourcing & outsourcing of tasks as required to fulfil customer orders, whilst ensuring supplier activities have no or minimal impact on existing customer services
Effective & efficient resolution of issues with internal & external customers & suppliers, proactively addressing risks before they become issues
Implementation of the fulfilment plan ensuring the provision of service is managed through to a timely & successful conclusion
Oversight of the customer migrations ensuring all parties have a clear understanding of the impact on customer service; risks to service are identified & mitigated against. In addition act as an escalation point for the resolution of issues experienced at the point of migration.
Where a delivery is project managed, work in conjunction with the assigned Project Manager to fulfil Provisioning deliverables
Ensure our internal & external customers remained informed on the progress through all stages of the delivery process
Your experience will include:
Extensive experience in delivery of WAN, LAN & Voice network solutions
A minimum of Cisco CCNA or CCNP qualification (or equivalent experience)
Extensive experience of access technologies
Extensive experience of 3rd party management
Highly effective & demonstrable customer engagement skills to build & maintain excellent working relationships with internal & external customers
Proficient in IT technology with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Excellent communication skill
Systematic, disciplined & analytical approach to problem solving
