Protection Administrator

My client is a leading Mortgage and Protection Brokerage based on the outskirts of Southampton.

They are looking to recruit a Protection Administrator to join their dynamic team. A surge in business and enquiries has meant they need a candidate who can hit the ground running, with a motivated and determined approach.

Main purpose:

To liaise with Providers, GP surgeries and clients to process insurance applications.

Make proactive outbound contact with potential and existing clients to generate new business or maintain client contact.

Assist the protection advisers with their files Measures of Performance: Monthly On Risk figures by monthly premium value Speed of time from application to on risk Quality of Report Writing

Key accountabilities:

Ensuring contact with client is conducted in a professional and compliant manner

Achieving On Risk performance targets

Ensuring all relevant documentation and notes are saved to the relevant system(s)

Ensuring all systems and records are accurately updated to assist with MI production

Consistently demonstrate good Conduct Risk behaviours by placing the customer’s best interest at the heart of everything you do and recommend improvements where possible.

Contribute through actions and behaviour to en-sure the culture of the whole company reflects this

Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience required:

Experience of working within an administrative role

Ability to pick up and retain knowledge of protection insurance criteria

Good telephone manner

Ability to work to targets

Organisation skills to manage cases and systems

Key competencies: Organised with good attention to detail • Competent levels of Microsoft Office and IT systems skills • Able to prioritise workload • Calm under pressure • Good communication skills • Customer focused
