£29,588 per annum, plus £1,000 car user allowance

Bell Lane, Lewes but with regular travel throughout Sussex

Southdown Housing Association provides accommodation to vulnerable people who receive additional support to maintain their home, with over 600 tenants in both owned and short-leased properties across Sussex. Although our stock is small, it is specialist in nature and requires professional, flexible and sensitive input to maintain excellent standards of accommodation.

We are looking for a Property Surveyor to assist in the development and delivery of our responsive repairs, voids and planned maintenance programmes. The role assists the Planned Maintenance Manager co-ordinate other major asset management capital improvement works.

The role will also be responsible for carrying out stock condition surveys in order for the Association to understand what work is required to keep its properties maintained to the required standards.

Candidates will be expected to have a good all round knowledge of property maintenance, and will need to work very closely with our clients, staff and contractors in order to achieve our goals.

This post requires you to be a driver with access to a car for work purposes.
