The Property Services Manager will be responsible for that all resident services (up to 200 units) a high standard and in a timely fashion. You will act as the first point of contact with residents and visitors on site to enhance the overall experience. This is a new permanent opportunity to join a growing property management agent based in central Bath.

Our Client is an award winning residential property management agent (property and housing industry).


The Property Services Manager will ideally be based in Bath and responsibilities and duties are:

  • Organising resident's events and managing budget spend
  • Organise and manage monthly resident events to encourage resident engagement
  • Building relationships with local retailers and restaurateurs to agree special offers for our residents
  • Keep residents portal fresh with up to date content including all services and offerings
  • Ensure appearance of property meets required standards
  • Arranging Tenancies, check ins and check outs
  • Managing Maintenance by liaising with the maintenance team and third party companies to arrange for repairs to be completed to a professional standard in a timely manner
  • Proactively demand and collect rent arrears, chasing unpaid rents and providing regular updates to the client account manager
  • Renewals, running reports of tenancy and liaising with residents accordingly to agree renewals and negotiate rental increases if necessary

The successful Property Services Manager will have the following:

  • Proven track record working in the Property and housing industry, Tenancies, Lettings, Negotiation (Residential or Commercial)

  • Customer Service focused, including negotiation skills and dealing with difficult situations

  • ARLA qualification (working towards will be considered)

  • Health and Safety Qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH)

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as other systems such as databases or booking systems (Training however will be provided)

  • Knowledge of facilities Systems and equipment on site and a basic understanding of how to test and maintain them

  • Proactive, positive and can do attitude

  • Enthusiastic and passionate about customer service

  • Professional and credible approach

Job Offer

  • £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
  • Benefits will include holiday days, pension scheme etc
  • 40 hours between Monday to Friday
  • Site is based in central Bath with parking available
