I am working with a leading local authority, who are looking for a Properly Management Officer to come on board on an ongoing temporary nature (there is a strong likelihood the role will become permanent).
You will have experience of working in a property management environment and will be capable of completing (independently) minor lettings/valuations on small holds such as parking spaces, garages and, with support from Surveyors, larger lettings ie, shops and industrial units. You will also be able to understand legal agreements to advise tenants on issues such as repair liabilities.
The overall purpose of this post is to support the effective use, management and development of Councils land and property including carrying out under supervision valuations, disposals and acquisition of land and premises as well as inspections for a variety of health/safety and compliance purposes.
To be considered you must have:
- hold BTEC Higher in Land Administration or equivalent
- substantial experience in managing land and property in an urban environment, property inspections, health and safety relating to property and building maintenance
- full driving licence
