A great opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and well presented individual to become the Property Maintenance Coordinator in the busy Management Department of an award winning Letting Agents

Location: Whetstone London N20

Role: Property Maintenance Coordinator

Starting salary: £25,000 TO £27,500 pa (depending on experience)

Job Summary

The candidate must be required to work well under pressure and confidentially maintain management of the many incoming correspondence.

Excellent communication and customer service is a must, both verbal and written, and some experience within property management is encouraged.

Previous knowledge of CFPwinman would be an advantage but is not required as training will be provided, however basic understanding of office programs is highly recommended.

The candidate will be part of a busy Management office along three other members of staff so we are seeking a good team player for a long term position.

The responsibilities with include the following

-Accept incoming correspondence via telephone and email and ensure a response within a timely manner at all times

-Ensure good communication between Tenants, Landlords and contractors

-Solely manage an in-house maintenance contractor as well as a portfolio of sub-contractors

-Delegate maintenance works to the relevant contractor and ensuring constant communication with the Landlord and Tenants on the progress

-Obtain comparative quotes at the Landlords request

-Manage an organised diary of the on-going works and meet deadlines

-Make arrangements for Tenants vacating the properties and negotiate deposit returns between Landlord and Tenants in a fair and professional manner

-Carry out six monthly interims inspections for all management properties, prepare reports and send out to clients promptly

-Prepare invoices and quotations for an in-house maintenance contractor along side the Property Manager

-Prepare PAT certificates for an in-house contractor and send out to clients promptly

-Market and sell the company’s services and products

-Keep an organised key system within the office when signing in and out along with regular spot checks

Must have a clean driving licence and own car

Must be punctual at all times and dress in accordance with the company’s dress code.
