Property Litigation Associate - Bristol
My client are looking for an Associate to join their highly regarded Property Litigation team in Bristol

The firm’s specialist Property Litigation lawyers excel in helping clients resolve a wide range of disputes from landlord and tenant to complex and highly technical development disputes, and advice on land rights. They provide a cradle-to-grave service and have a wide range of experience, from advising clients on possible angles to exploit and add value on investment portfolios or development site clearance, to early-stage dispute avoidance advice and mediation, full-blown litigation and third-party determination.
The team are particularly known for advising well-known corporate occupiers, institutional landlords and leading developers on their complex, high value disputes. These range from lease renewals, proactive asset management and proceedings relating to breach of covenant to disputes relating to conditional contracts, overage agreements and options. The team advise also major Energy and Infrastructure clients on disputes over land rights and the exercise of statutory powers over land. In addition, their experience in the Telecoms sector, such as legal expertise in rights over land arising under the Electronic Communications Code, advising household name clients and work with pension funds/investors, meaning they regularly advise the firm's key clients on their most complex property disputes - both commercial and residential.
Technical skills and experience
Due to the technical nature of the practice, the firm are looking for evidence of a strong academic record and training ideally gained within a large regional or City Firm. For newly qualified candidates they are also looking for individuals who have one seat gained within a recognised and respected Property Litigation team during their training. As a guide, due to the nature of the work and the structure of the team, they are looking to appoint an Associate, although we will consider candidates with more or less experience depending on circumstance.
