We are seeking a Property Legal Secretary/Assistant for this firm based in Torquay, Devon.

Providing essential support to the Property Team, your role will involve residential work, providing support with responsibilities to include file opening, closing and maintenance, undertaking legal research, preparing and submitting searches, filing SDLT returns, conducting searches and enquiries via the Land Registry Portal, preparing reports and leases and transfers, undertaking the work involved in completion (raising cheques, invoicing, completion statements etc.), proofreading and drafting documents, arranging meetings, answering telephone calls, billing etc.

Flexible and enthusiastic with a real 'can do' attitude, you will be a team player who is also happy to take on tasks and work independently. Committed to client care you will have the ability to remain calm and focussed under pressure and be adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines. With excellent communication and IT skills you will be professional, positive and motivated.
