Property Legal Assistant

We are supporting our client with the recruitment of a Property Legal Assistant to provide support in handling case files. This is a great opportunity for a graduate with some experience looking to embark on their next career move to join a professional forward thinking law firm. The role will include opening files, physically and on the firm’s case management system and eventually corresponding with clients, other side solicitors, Land Registry and Companies House to include drafting, making applications and responding to all correspondence.

Responsibilities include:-

To open files - physically and on the system;
To lodge Land Registry applications (AP1’s and FR1’s in the main)
To forward documentation and requisitions to the other side solicitors;
To provide other side solicitors with completion statements;
To provide other side solicitors and clients with completion letters;
To make land registry applications and chase land registry until applications are complete;
To make companies house applications and chase companies house until applications are complete;
To carry out land registry searches;
To print, scan and copy whatever needs printing, scanning or copying;
Applicants must have worked for an established law firm and have experience in Property/Land Registry matters.
