Job Specification: Property Administrator

The Property Administrator will help us provide full professional property management services for a portfolio of freehold/leasehold developments on behalf of freehold clients and resident management companies.

Previous experience of at least one year is necessary.

The work is varied and will require a good understanding of:

- Residential property management and current legislation;

- Section 20 Notices and major works consultation procedures;

- Service charge accounts and budgets;

- Insurance assessments;

- Management of contractors;

- Liaison with clients, leaseholders and directors;

- Company administration, resident meetings / AGMs;

- Health & safety legislation;

- Fire safety regulations;

- Electrical safety regulations;

- Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015


  • Issuing Section 20 Notices and implementing consultation procedures;
  • Producing service charge accounts and budgets;
  • Managing portfolio with reference to the RICS Codes of Practice;
  • Dealing with leaseholders’ enquiries proactively with care and due diligence;
  • Preparing and agreeing the scope of works and repairs;
  • Instructing surveyors/contractors;
  • Following through all instruction issues to ensure completion in line with agreed time frames, costs and quality;
  • Providing support to other Property Managers/Team members where necessary
  • Monitoring expenditure to ensure sufficient funds are available to cover all necessary repairs/works

Working hours 9:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday
