Project Support , Project Administrator, Project Coordinator

Project Support , Project Administrator, Project Coordinator sought by a large organisation with headquarters in Guildford. You will work on a large programme of work and support both project and programme managers.

Role purpose:
To provide support to the Project Programme Manager & Delivery Manager and Project Leads, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to enable project to be progressed to meet deadlines and objectives. To provide flexible approach to supporting project work spanning across multi-disciplines

Key accountabilities:
• Progress and complete agreed actions set by the Project leads ensuring that tasks are dealt with proactively and problems resolved successfully, so that project outcomes are achieved
• Collate project information and produce core project products.
• Quality assure project reports including identifying potential resourcing risks and time delays and highlighting these to project heads
• Support change within the business by ensuring that all activity promotes customer focus and value for money and that all activities are in line with corporate priorities and reflect best practice in the business
• Work collaboratively to ensure expectations are agreed and appropriate information disseminated.
• Monitor project information, highlighting key trends to the Project Leads and ensure that potential risks and issues are escalated proactively.
• Input and maintain project information on relevant databases and applications ensuring that data is accurate and up to date and complete audits to ensure data integrity.
• Identify opportunities for improvements, research best practice and present well thought out recommendations to Project Leads
• Provide project administration support for the portfolio, producing reports as required.

Experience required:
• Problem solving skills and evidence of seeing agreed plans through to conclusion.
• Ability to take a wider perspective when making decisions
• Experience in the production of project products such as risk logs, highlight reports etc.
• Practical project administration experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, concise and logical reports.
• Experience in the effective management of project records.
• Experience in the effective management of a busy office team environment.
• Has the ability to work on own initiate, to prioritise and respond flexibly to rapidly changing demands when under pressure.
