Project Support Coordinator - PMO, Software House

£20,000 - £27,000 depending on experience + Great Benefits

Leading public sector focused software systems house requires experienced Project Support Coordinator to help maximise predictable revenues by planning, executing, and finalising customer delivery projects according to deadlines and budgets. This includes coordinating the efforts of various team members in a PMO team central to delivery of hundreds of successful projects a year. Good prospects exist to develop your career, with a view to becoming a fully-fledged, autonomous project manager in the field. This role office-based with some UK travel to meet clients on occasion. My client is looking for candidates with project administration and client services experience, who are self-starting, committed and resourceful individuals - able to show initiative and with a good eye for detail!

Required skills and experience:

Previous experience working in a similar project coordination or management role

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong numeracy skills

Problem solving and analysis

Good standard IT PC skills and confident in using Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel

Experience using Agresso (or a similar ERP system) is desirable

Professional manner with customers and colleagues

Able to prioritise own work and manage deadlines effectively - organised and efficient

Able to work independently and confident in dealing with challenging situations

The Role:

Independently managing the delivery of straightforward projects, typically application upgrades and training for existing customers, engaging support from Project Managers and delivery teams as required.

Responsible for the co-ordination and progress monitoring of assigned orders and work packages

Dealing with customer requests and project issues

Setting up and raising project invoices

Maintenance of the project library and compliance

Processing sales orders, ensuring correct authorisation has been received etc

Ensuring all relevant documentation and correspondence is scanned and attached to back office system

Manage consumable supplier relationships and processing orders with them

Processing requests for services using scheduling software, ensuring that the correct order details are included in the booking

Working closely with Account Managers, Project Managers and customers to successfully co-ordinate and confirm work schedules for on-site and off-site services

Processing licensing requests and assisting in the processing of annual renewal licences and subscription services.

Manage the publication and organisation of scheduled training courses - Managing transport or training materials, booking of training venues etc.
