A successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Leeds is actively seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join their team. As a Project Structural Engineer, you will assist in leading one of their busiest structural teams where you will have opportunity to produce detailed designs for various projects, such as industrial, commercial, retail, residential and the public sector.
It is essential for the Project Structural Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
- A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng in Structural Engineering
- A minimum of 4 years relevant working experience
- To be a Chartered Engineer or working towards a Chartership status
- Knowledge of technical software such as Tekla, Tedds, Fastrack Portal Fram, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame or
Duties and responsibilities for this Project Structural Engineer include:
- Work within a team of technicians and engineers in the delivery of civil and structural engineering projects.
- Assist with Revit and CAD technicians to ensure the level of design is to the correct standard
- Responsible for co-ordinating delivery of drainage, structures, and highways elements of projects.
- Involvement in internal and project design meetings.
