Project Specialist NPD Regulatory Affairs & Product Compliance - The Role
You will coordinate all regional NPD projects, including reformulation projects and new corporate initiatives such as manufacturer tech transfers. You will support the rationalisation of department processes, attend/organize meetings, and streamline activities with internal departments and the regions to discuss ongoing projects. You will oversee processes and guide the team in delivering key project milestones.
Day-to-day you will be involved in feeding back regulatory issues regarding ingredient usage, product category and market acceptance as well as tracking project status and managing stakeholder communications. You will also use your knowledge of regulations, dossier preparation and registration/notification to help colleagues accomplish objectives, and assist in reviewing new preliminary and concept formulas to determine ingredient acceptability.
Important will be the ability to monitor regulatory developments and communicate changes and subsequent recommendations to management and other departments to ensure we continue to comply.
Project Specialist NPD Regulatory Affairs & Product Compliance - Requirements
Probably degree qualified in Biology, Food Science, Chemistry or similar, you must have experience as Regulatory Affairs Specialist in the Health, Nutrition, Regulatory and/or Legal field. You will have a record of manging projects in a new product development environment and possess a good understanding of relevant EU legislation and national laws for at least 12 countries in the EMEA region.You will be a proficient user of Agile too.
Able to demonstrate creative thinking you will possess strong communication, planning, organisational and project management skills. Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment you are used to working with evolving goals and objectives. You are also the type of person who can analyse complex technical data and develop recommendations and solutions. A second European language and expertise with recognised project management tools would be an advantage.
