Interim Project Procurement Manager job in Swindon, £400 - £500 per day, 6 month interim contract

Hays Procurement are pleased to be assisting a Swindon based client in the recruitment of an Interim Project Procurement Manager initially on a 6 month interim contract.

Your new role

You will take personal responsibility for the successful delivery of all aspects of the procurement lifecycle of one or more onshore projects/individual contract to the requirements of the business in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.

You will ensure that commercial issues are addressed, understand and apply agreed contract terms and conditions to construction activities as well as managing contract variation and claims processes.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced procurement professional with previous large capital project experience and NEC & FIDIC form of contract experience.

You will also have knowledge of legal and contractual matters as well as the capacity to integrate well into the project and work in a cross-functional matrix organisation.

What you'll get in return

This role is being offered with the day rate between £400 and £500 for 6 months to start asap.
