You will be based within a large public sector organisation in Cardiff. This site is close to public transport routes and is a well respected, reputable employer. This role is initially for a period of 3 months, but could lead to further opportunities. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week, £14.50 - £17.00 per hour. Your new role
You will provide administrative support within the research department, and work closely with members of the Network in the collation of information on relevant research taking place across the Network. You will create a means of communication across the website network and develop and facilitate workshops, seminars or similar events within the Network. You will service meetings and establish working relationships with key contacts, developing appropriate communications links with members of the Network and outside bodies as required. You will monitor progress against agreed project deadlines, updating action lists and timelines as appropriate, highlighting any concerns with progress. Finally, undertake a variety of administrative duties to support the development of the Network.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience within a similar project officer role. You will have strong administration skills. You will have good working knowledge around Microsoft Office Packages. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, and feel confident managing processes and liaising with various stakeholders. You will be immediately available to start a new position.
