Overview

My client are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-value new build projects within the education sector. This is a site-based role across Essex, offering a competitive package and the opportunity to oversee projects from inception to completion, with values up to £30M.

? Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of new build projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  
• Collaborate closely with design teams during pre-construction and planning phases
  
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site to maintain quality and safety standards
  
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
  

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Project Manager in construction
  
• Proven track record of delivering new build projects up to £30M
  
• Sector experience in education is essential; healthcare or leisure also considered
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project success
  

Certifications & Qualifications

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  
• First Aid at Work
  
• CSCS Black Card
  
• NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Construction Management or equivalent
