Price Bailey are currently working on behalf of an innovative and fast growing Software Product provider headquartered in Kent who are currently recruiting for a Project Manager. The role is set to be home based but would see the successful candidate travelling to multiple client sites as well as various exhibitions/events for marketing purposes.

The product itself is a market-leading piece of software designed to collate and present information multiple applications in one, easy to use place. It has been designed to support Professional Services organisations and, although relatively new to the market, it has over 2000 users already with massive interest from numerous other prospective buyers as well as a number of exciting new features in development for future releases.

Purpose of role: To be the product champion for a newly released software product, serving c2000 users across the UK. This involves project managing with the implementation of the product for new clients, working closely with all clients to ensure good adoption, and taking an active role in shaping the product as it is developed further.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To initiate new sales activity with prospective clients
  • Be the single point of liaison between the existing sites and the production team
  • Developer resource planning; prioritisation and client communication (expectation management)
  • Post "initial support tri-age" of support call handling
  • Proactive customer service
  • Knowledge of product for 'train the trainer’ abilities
  • Co-ordination and management of development cycle
  • Liaising with clients to ensure prevention of scope creep of the installation project

Required Skills

  • Previous experience in a user facing Project Manager role working within the B2B setting

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong organisation and time management skills

  • Prior experience working closely with Developers on products which are new to market

  • Experience working within a start up environment on Greenfield products would be preferable

  • Highly autonomous with the ability to manage own workload

  • Prior history working in Professional Services would be an advantage
