Project Manager in Aldermore's IT teams work across the business to ensure a secure and reliable IT infrastructure that enables everyday efficiency, an exceptional customer experience and drives growth. The Role

The role must successfully ensure smooth set up and running and delivery of projects within the Group/Mortgages/Business Finance/Finance & Treasury portfolio on a day-to-day basis, using best practices and procedures to deadlines and within budget. Provide good technical and business decision making to ensure quality of the deliverables is achieved and that the risks & issues are managed effectively.

The post holder will need to gain rapid acceptance of a more disciplined approach to project management. They will help to introduce appropriate project management standards and work with resources spread geographically over a number of offices and divisions. You will be taking full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of projects (typically significant business, political, or high-profile impact, and high-risk dependencies), ensuring risk management processes are maintained.

You will have experience in monitoring and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders and ensure that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provides regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.

You will be able to effectively identify our exposure and risk on projects and make recommendations to senior management on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

You will be use to managing the change control procedures, and ensures that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off.

The Person

You will need strong familiarity with project management financials, inclusive of estimation, costing, tracking estimates versus actuals. The ideal candidate will have strong client facing skills with experience of working across multiple delivery organisations and experienced in working in multi-disciplined development teams.
