A leading, highly regulated, manufacturing organisation, are looking for a Project Manager to join their site in Hampshire on an initial 6-month contract.

The core function of the role will be to provide Capital Project support to the business; ensuring both Equipment (Automated Packaging / High Speed Lines), Infrastructure and Plant (Utilities / Facilities) related projects are completed on time and to the required specification and cost. You will manage all aspects of the capital project assigned, including budget control, vendor management, concept design, installation / commission / validation / qualification to hand over.

The Project Manager will be experienced with project governance and will be able to deal with multiple stakeholders, at various levels. Candidates will have experience dealing with multiple projects at one time, with values ranging from (£0.5M-£5M) and have experience making major decisions on these projects. Some travel will be required for FATs and supporting projects at European manufacturing sites.

In order to be considered for this position candidates need to hold a formal Engineering based qualification i.e. HNC / HND / Degree. Candidates will be considered from Mechanical, Electrical or Process backgrounds. In addition to this, candidates need to have proven Project Engineering / Management experience within a Pharmaceutical / Chemical, Medical Device or FMCG environment. Candidates must have experience managing a full project life-cycle and must be used to working in a high-pressured environment to tight time scales. It is essential candidates have experience working on packaging and highly automated manufacturing equipment from a highly regulated background. Experience working in a sterile / aseptic environment would be advantageous.
