Hinton Spencer are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager for a multi-award winning British design and architecture studio - buildings, spaces, master-plans, objects and infrastructure.
To facilitate and manage the work flow & programme of high profile, technically challenging and creative designs and to work as part of a team to ensure the quality delivery of a large scale architectural project.
Project Delivery - to define and ensure the efficient internal management of the project programme and delivery from concept through to construction and potentially post-occupation. To set up an efficient structure and workflow organisation for the team.
To support the Project Leader in overall resource and budget management of the project. To ensure efficient communication with client and external stakeholders. To ensure an excellent level of professional service to the client and partner organisations.
Design - to work and support the appropriate Group Leader, Project Leader and team to generate, develop and deliver innovative and original design proposals.
Leadership - To assist and support the Project Leader in managing and nurturing internal and external teams, developing and maintaining positive and professional relationships. To collaborate with the Technical Lead as part of the leadership team on a project.

- 15+ experience in Architecture
- • Extensive project management and design experience.
- • Demonstrable understanding of the creative design process through all work stages.
- • Preferably from an architectural background.
- • Demonstrable experience of planning and prioritising.
- • Clear understanding of scopes of service.
- • Experience of overseeing complex international projects within collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
- • Good verbal presentation skills.
Training and Continuing Professional Development
The studio aims to attract and develop the best talent and create a supportive environment in which studio members can learn and develop. Training is provided to increase technical skills and to address identified professional development needs.
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000
