Band 7 Project Manager 12 month fixed term contract
Your new company
You will be working for a public sector organisation within the transformation team who are responsible for managing projects which contribute to the delivery of our organisational strategic objectives. This candidate will be responsible for managing a number of projects and project work streams.
Your new role
You will be working within a strong governance structure, the project manager will be responsible for all aspects of the project management function; from planning, tracking and reporting, through to risk management and continuous improvement initiatives. The project manager will also ensure that a lessons-learnt methodology is employed. You will be able to use service analysis, development and improvement in order to help determine solutions which are effective and efficient (including process mapping, gap analysis, lean methodologies, stakeholder engagement and change management).
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have at least 3 years of project management experience. You will also have knowledge of lean methodology and process mapping. The perfect candidate will be a confident and personable character who can adapt quickly into new environments.
