Project Manager

Project manager needed with a background in drylining, ceilings, partitions or bespoke fitout. You will work on prestigious Drylining/Ceiling contracts valued upwards of £20m with one of the leading drylining sub-contractors in the UK.

About the Role:
To project manage any site contract independently and to ensure agreed goals are met or exceeded by working with others Management
Lead bid process in conjunction with work winning team
Create project plans from inception to O & M and monitor progress against them
Develop and motivate team to ensure metrics are achieved
Manage client relationships to ensure repeat business
Manage Design, Procurement and other support functions to ensure project success
Ensure contractor and legal obligations are met
Ensure daily & weekly operational meetings held
Ensure cross functional team meetings held minimum once a month
Engage with all team members including operatives to ensure best possible project outcomes
Undertake project audits
Project Programme - meet agreed deadlines or adjust as agreed with the Client
Project Commercials - CVRs, profit targets met in conjunction with QS on project
Recruit and interview proposed team members
Ensure appropriate training in place for team in order to meet project quality targets
Recognise and reward good behaviours
Manage people effectively, following employment legislation and company policy & procedures
Accountable for the rigorous planning of the project and setting the goals and objectives for the team.
Manage labour and labour master selection, recruitment, training and performance
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
Provide leadership to the Project to ensure QHEST is regarded as a high priority to achieve Business plan targets
Compile the ITP for the Project
Issue & review the Quality Timetables for Site Managers
Challenge poor quality and complete a NCR (non-conformance report)
Close out NCRs in a timely manner
Create and manage the quality calendar for site
Compile RAMS & task sheets for the Project in a timely manner
Ensure accurate QA checks carried out for the Project in a timely manner
Undertake accompanied 85pt plans with supervisors - at least once/month
Undertake other specified quality checks - e.g. ATQ tours
Ensure all requisite QHEST administration is carried out
Respond to actions raised from independent inspections and audits within the agreed timescales
Ensure QHEST returns are completed in an accurate & timely manner
Ensure mandatory documents are completed and submitted as required
Ensure quality workshops are carried out regularly & models constructed to aid understanding as appropriate.
Any other task relevant to the role, as required by the company
