About the role

Project Manager needed to deliver change and process improvements & associated management information, up to £55,000 + Benefits/Bonus based in Uxbridge.

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience gained within lending or financial services to work on business-oriented projects, coordinating resources across the business.

Responsibilities and experience required for the role of Project Manager

  • Ensure project management methodologies and template documents are adopted and embedded
  • Build required Project Plans for internal and external use in line with templates and procedures
  • Produce overarching reporting / MI on projects and tracking of progress
  • Track progress on assigned Projects and report out to sponsor / stakeholders as appropriate
  • Create and maintain action trackers and risk registers for projects
  • Co-ordinate internal and client facing project meetings at appropriate frequencies for topics involved
  • Provide support to project SMEs as appropriate
  • Draft new or amend existing Policies and Procedures as required to meet the requirements of new/updated regulations / legislation, obtaining relevant approvals, implement and rollout under direction from the Director of Projects
  • Support the Director of Projects and other Senior Management in business development activities
  • Prepare any support materials, analysis or reports required for corporate development efforts
  • To act as a subject matter expert, supporting client acquisition and retention activities
  • Good understanding of relevant regulation and associated legislative policy and the impacts these have on the business; including: MCOB, FCA, TCF, FOS & FSCS Regulatory complaints handling requirements, principles of the duty of care
  • Able to contribute positively through clear and effective communication
  • Ability to hit deadlines
  • Be able to evidence leadership ability, team management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organisational skills
  • Experience of monitoring project risks and maintaining controls within agreed tolerance levels
