The Medical Protection Society Limited ("MPS") is the world's leading protection organisation for doctors, dentists and healthcare professionals. Membership provides access to expert advice and support together with the right to request indemnity for any complaints or claims arising from professional practice.
Our in-house experts assist with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that arise from professional practice. This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.
Our Strategic Change Department is looking to recruit a Project Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract, based in our Leeds office.
As a Project Manager you will be an integral part of a strategic change programme established to develop MPS's range of products for new and existing corporate and individual members across MPS's international markets.
The provision of indemnity to medical, dental and other healthcare practitioners is going through a period of significant change and this programme is a key element of MPS's response to this changing environment.
Responsibilities of the role will include co-ordination of the planning, governance and delivery of a number of work-stream projects within the programme to an agreed timeframe, budget and quality standard. The Project Manager will have a key role in the implementation of the new operating models required to facilitate the delivery of the new products.
Applicants must possess previous experience of working as Project Manager, ideally within a Financial Services environment, coupled with AGILE and Prince2 qualifications.
You must be a skilled facilitator with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be able to demonstrate strong organisational and panning skills.
