Your New Role
This business is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in central Manchester to provide guidance and decision-making on the execution and delivery of assigned internal and external projects. You will be responsible for maintaining an on-going project/work plan and will ensure that all work carried out is in alignment with the requirements, goals and objectives of the customer and the Management Team.
They are looking for an individual that can create and execute project plans and timelines and be adaptable to meet changing needs and requirements. You will manage the day to day governance and administration of projects throughout the project delivery lifecycle whilst anticipating and mitigating project risks that could affect the successful delivery.
As Project Manager, you will hold regular meetings with the project teams and review all deliverables prepared by the team before the release to the client and have the ability to liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers.
What You Need to Succeed
You will build robust and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and facilitate regular client meetings, gateway reviews and project boards. You must be able to resolve or escalate issues in a timely fashion, providing suitable recommendations and have the ability to track and reports on project costs and expenses, analysing project revenue and profitability.
In order to be successful for the role, you will have a demonstrable track record in Project and Change Management in a commercial and software driven environment. Ideally you will have Prince 2 Practitioner, PMI, Agile or equivalent qualifications and any experience of the travel sector would be advantageous but not essential.
