Internal promotion has created an opportunity for a 2:1/1st class graduate with a PRINCE 2, APMP or Six Sigma qualification and a minimum of 3 years` Technology project management experience, gained in a Big 4 Management Consultancy, Legal or Professional Services environment, to undertake a commercially focused Project Manager role. As a key member of the Technology Projects team, you will drive the end to end delivery and successful completion of projects to deliver operational benefits for the business. A broad brief includes:
•Ensuring project requirements are understood & aligned with project objectives
•Implementing project organisation, leading & developing the team to deliver objectives
•Facilitating the selection of project suppliers & resources
•Ensuring compliance to the corporate project process
•Acting as a key point of escalation & resolution for project related risk/issues
•Creation & review of project related documentation, business cases, PIDs, reports & changes
•Management of project budgets including spend to date & forecast to close
•Management of key risks & issues to mitigate project threats & ensure resolution
•Stakeholder management to communicate ongoing project progress & delivery
As a 2:1/1st class graduate with a PRINCE 2, APM or Six Sigma qualification, you will demonstrate a minimum of 3 years` Technology project management experience, gained in a Big 4 Management Consultancy, Legal or Professional Services environment, alongside strong MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint skills. The gravitas to manage and influence key stakeholders, outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to manage several concurrent project lifecycles is prerequisite. A professional and proactive approach alongside attention to detail and the confidence to deal with complex situations is essential.
