My client is a main local contractor who undertake prestigious projects in the retail, leisure, restoration, commercial, residential and education industries. They are gaining an enviable reputation for delivering bespoke design and build solutions on complex projects throughout the province. Due to sustained growth they have a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to be based in Belfast on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Due to continual growth in a demanding market place the company have a requirement for a Project Manager to be based initially on a high-rise project in Belfast.
Applicants must have extensive knowledge of being the project lead on large-scale projects, working to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on budgets. As Project Manager the expectancy will be to have excellent contractual knowledge, ordering materials and supervising subcontractors. You will be involved with all delivery aspects of the project and be required to make changes to drawings and plans when needed.
What you'll need to succeed
As Project Manager you will have clear communication skills and be able to express requirements to direct staff including junior engineers, sub-contractors, peers, architects and liaise with client representatives in order to lead an effective and efficient team.
Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager on high valued projects is critical in order to effectively fulfil this role. Also you must have a strong Health & Safety ethos embedded within all working practices.
