Job Title - Project Manager

Location - Poole, Dorset

Salary - Up to £55k per annum

On behalf of our client we have a new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to support the PMO with all aspects of Project Management and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating project plans for activities and milestones whilst managing task completion schedules.

As directed by Head of PMO, you will Identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs for new projects and after launch, track and manage projects and activities across the business ensuring all internal stakeholders are engaged to enable delivery of projects, on time and on budget.

You will create and manage project documentation including plans, progress reports, risk process outputs and effective action logs.

When required also complete interim project performance analysis and post project review summaries. This includes benefits analysis and continuous improvement opportunities.

Lead change management process including Passport Evolution, Updates and Gate reviews.

Key responsibilities

-Change management & Passport process

-Cost reporting, analysis and project budget management

-Stakeholder analysis & RACI

-Risk management process & RAID reporting

-Complete interim project performance analysis and post project review summaries

-Benefits analysis and identify continuous improvement opportunities

-Support and leading presentations to management or customers

-Owning the project delivery process from end to end

-Clearly identifying and communicating technical, project and commercial risks

-To act with integrity and within the company guidelines and policies, promoting a positive can do culture

Experience and Qualifications

-5 yrs Experience of project management and track record of successful project delivery

-Experience of change management processes

-Problem solving skills

-Excellent communication skills with the ability to credibly deal with all levels of the business

-Team management skills and experience with the ability to negotiate task priorities and deploy conflict resolution techniques

-IT knowledge and familiar with Software Development methods

-Proficient with Microsoft office tools, Office 365.

-Jira & Salesforce skills are desirable

-Knowledge of Lean methodologies and processes

-Cybersecurity awareness

-Demonstrable knowledge and capability working within SaaS.

General Experience and Knowledge;

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyse, and interpret general business documentation, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to create project documentation, plans, progress reports, RAID summaries, cost breakdowns and analysis and present this information and respond to questions from groups of stakeholders.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve project problems and deal with a variety of project variables in situations where only limited information exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, Microsoft Office, ERP’s and customer relationship management systems
