Project Manager job working on a large Finance Change project within a well known Insurance provider.
Your new role
As Project Manager you will lead a complex finance systems change project and drive it through to implementation, ensuring timely delivery of all finance deliverables. You will improve systems and processes and take the lead on shaping the project, and deciding what work needs to be done, making sure anything new is integrated seamlessly. This is a hands on role, you will get into the detail, utilising your knowledge of finance concepts. You will also be involved in setting up governance, holding meetings and bringing stakeholders together from multiple business areas.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must be an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering Finance change projects within a large Financial Services organisation, ideally within insurance. You must have a good grasp of key finance concepts and core operational finance processes, ideally you will be from an accounting background. Experience of Oracle is highly desirable, or a similar accounting package. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.
