This small, specialist ERP company has a superb consulting and implementation team, 2 offices and a 25 year history in selling ERP solutions for the construction, property and engineering sectors. They need an ERP Project Manager to join their team: this is a home-based role on client site three days a week, and working from home 2 days a week, with some visits to head office near Woking. Salary from £40-60k plus car allowance. You can live anywhere in the UK, you do not need to be near Woking.

They author and sell a highly scalable and configurable ERP solution to large construction and engineering firms and property companies in the UK and the Middle East. Implementation projects are normally around 200 - 300 days with the occasional role up to 1,000 consulting days.

They have a talented team of developers and technical staff and a project management office PMO, with a very slick project management methodology and documentation system, that helps drive projects efficiently. Their UK staff cover application support, implementation and project management, plus sales and account management.

This is a lynchpin role as you will effectively be running the UK consulting team as the Project Manager. You will work with their PMO team in India, but you will have a lot of responsibility and autonomy on how projects are managed and delivered.

They are looking for a talented Project Manager with strong interpersonal skills, who can manage people and projects from kick-off, identify pain points in implementation projects and provide appropriate resolutions to keep projects on schedule and to budget, as well as handling conflict resolution. You are highly organised and self-motivated, and you work with your clients and your implementation team to manage project planning, resource scheduling and issue management, recording and mitigating project issues and risk, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

You will have worked with ERP, Construction, Estimating, Property Management or other application software. So solutions such as Deltek, Dynamics NAV or Dynamics AX, Epicor, Exact, Eque2, COINS, Red Sky Summit, Infor, Greentree, Sage 1000, Sage Construct, Proteus, Sage X3 or similar.
