As an experienced Project Manager, Site Manager or Construction Manager you will be overseeing multiple projects across the South East which will include new builds, refurbishments and extensions to existing commercial properties.
As one of 2 Project Managers in the Southern region you will pick up a project once planning has been granted and oversee all aspects of the Project from breaking ground through to handover.
You will be responsible for a number of projects running concurrently and often at different stages so you will need to organised and flexible in your approach. There are currently 15 projects in the pipeline for 2018.
The role will involve managing the Contractor, sub contractors and suppliers ensuring their work is completed ontime and to budget, working with them to ensure that project timescales are met and any obstacles are addressed swiftly.
Additionally you will ensure H&S is adhered to, budgets are managed, reports are completed for the Board and ensuring standards are maintained.
Role will be office based for approx 2 days a week and out on site for the rest.
Ideally you will will have relevant experience of new build construction and refurbishments as a Project Manager / Site Manager / Construction Manager or similar.
- Degree qualified in Construction or Engineering discipline - (HND with experience is possible)
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Commercial acumen
- Competent multi tasker
