Project Manager - Compliance

In2 Consult are currently looking for a Project Manager to work with a key client of ours in High Wycombe. They are ideally looking for someone with GDPR and BCP experience however are willing to be flexible. An overview of the role is listed below;

What we need you to do:

  • Manage key projects that will deliver our change programme

  • Have a 'can do’ approach - actively taking responsibility for tasks to help drive projects forward

  • Identify and define requirements for projects to support continual improvement and development

  • Understand the needs of the business and our teams to ensure that we deliver what we need

  • Make sure our tenants and leaseholders inspire and influence the design, delivery and outcome of everything we do

  • Make sure our vision, mission and values influence every aspect of our business

  • Build good relationships across the business.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Leading major projects, from developing business cases right through to implementation and handover to business as usual.

  • Defining detailed specifications for new business requirements

  • Developing project plans and monitoring them to ensure key actions are completed

  • Planning and organising meetings, activities and programmes of work to ensure the project(s) you are working on continue to move forward

  • Producing regular update reports for the projects you are supporting

  • Identifying and effectively managing risks and issues.

  • Delivering presentations and training where needed

  • Positively promoting the successes of your projects and their benefits for the organisation.

  • Ensuring that we carry out a review on data protection of all our contracts. This will involve you diligently reviewing our contracts and liaising with our contractors to gather key information to identify any actions we need to take.

  • Develop strong working relationships with our senior management team and executive management team to ensure that we work together in delivering on these two key areas.

  • Have good verbal and written communication skills, but a strength for engaging colleagues to ensure they are committed to the projects you are working on

  • An excellent communicator - comfortable talking to our senior management team and to our partners to ensure we gather all the information that we need.

  • Be able to build effective and productive working relationships with staff across the business

  • Be highly organised, prioritising in a busy environment - everything will need to be recorded diligently and in an easy to access fashion

  • Be accurate, diligent and conscientious. You will have a keen eye for detail - we need someone who can accurately identify the information they need.

  • Be excellent at report writing - you will need to provide reports to Programme Board and to our Governance and Procurement Teams.

  • Be confident and able to work independently

  • Look for solutions when faced with obstacles

  • Be a creative 'out of the box’ thinker who looks at new ways we can approach things

  • Confident in challenging and bringing new ideas to the table

  • Be committed to the aims and ambitions of the company and broader issues of social housing

  • Have an enthusiasm and desire to build your skills and knowledge

  • Be able to produce project plans using Microsoft Project.
