  • Business Development for VAMED project business (hospital and health care building projects) in UK
  • Build up and maintain a network with decision makers in the health sector
  • Support cost estimations for design and construction at the tender stage and tender proceedings
  • Overall responsibility for the organization and realization of healthcare building projects in terms of costs, time and quality
  • Ensuring that the technical and financial goals of the project are achieved as set out by the management and the terms and conditions of the contract (contract management)
  • Contact partner for the client and local authorities
  • Overall responsibility for authority proceedings and obtaining all necessary permits in time
  • Responsible for time scheduling for the entire project
  • In charge of contractual negotiations with potential designers, consultants and sub-contractors
  • Responsible to install and put in force the site regulations
  • Analysis of work performed (monthly reports, final report), assessment of consequences where needed
  • Risk management, supervision of performance of project control and administrative activities
  • Follow up on change orders, additional works as well as claims towards the client and subcontractors
  • Execute handing over procedure of the site with client representatives
  • Follow up on acceptance of the final invoice and final acceptance certificate


  • Graduate in civil engineering from a Technical University or Technical College combined with a good economic and legal understanding and affinity for business development
  • Several years of work experience in handling large scale civil construction projects (health care facilities) in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of British construction standards and regulations
  • Experience in the UK healthcare market is a requirement
  • Proven management, planning and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of relevant IT-tools
  • Effective team-building and leadership quality with good interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Mobility and willingness to work throughout England
