Project Manager - up to 55K - 38 Days Holiday - Aviation Sector

As the Projects Manager you are responsible for the project managing UK and overseas projects, applying your knowledge and expertise as required to scope, initiate, implement, monitor and control Security Solutions in accordance with agreed stakeholder and contracted requirements. You are to nurture and maintain a professional team of project managers, capable and competent in creating and implementing cost effective and efficient high-quality security projects within the UK and Overseas.


Project Management: Manage multiple projects at various stages of evolution:

- Scope and agree objectives in line with stakeholder requirements, including content, timings and budget.
- Schedule work and establish deadlines to meet the agreed project
- Coordinate project activity to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
- Lead and motivate your project team, comprising Redline and client staff.
- Monitor, measure and control project activity to ensure the project remains on time and within budget.
- Identify, mitigate and manage risks to ensure the project is delivered on time,
cost and quality.
- Identify and recommend required amendments to the project plan; manage and implement change control practices.
- Provide routine and regular communication / reporting to project stakeholders.
- Conduct performance reviews with team members, provide feedback to support their development and career progression.

Security Expertise: You will be expected to:
- Develop & maintain your knowledge and expertise of security regulation and guidance; e.g. ICAO Annex 17, Doc 8973, EU and UK DfT legislation, CPNI, etc.
- Produce analytical security reports for regulatory / governmental and customer analysis.
- Lead the strategic implementation of security programmes.
- Contribute to the development and amendment of National Security Programmes.
- Fulfil the role of a senior security manager in key aviation security functions; e.g. CNI, airport, cargo, in-flight supplies.
- Produce and / or amend Site / Entity Aviation Security Programmes and associated Standard Operating procedures.

- Champion the adoption of robust quality management principles, in alignment with ISO9001, to all activity.
- Support Redline in the achievement of our goals and objectives to undertake any task that falls within your capability and expertise in the UK or Overseas.

* Experience in developing successful professional relationships
* Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to extensively analysis business
processes and work flows
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage the execution of them in a high- pressure
* Team coordination
* Time management skills and leadership qualities
* Competent in various project management methodologies, e.g. Prince 2, Agile
* Sound knowledge of Project Management processes, principles and techniques
* Technically competent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel Project or any equivalent
* Knowledge and expertise of ICAO Annex 17, Doc 8973, EU and UK DfT legislation
and regulations.
* Budget Management
* Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Proactive nature, self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative
* High level of attention to detail
