Our Bristol Based Client are urgently seeking an SC Cleared Project Manager on a 6month initial contract +Extensions.

You will be responsible for managing the recent high profile initiative in utilising the Standard Contract Template process as a means to address the immediate shortage in available submarine spares. Currently midway through Phase 1, the intent is to conduct an additional 4 phases. The role will involve liaising with Commercial, Finance, Quality Assurance, Project Team Inventory Managers and Royal Navy Supply Chain logisticians internal to MOD Abbey Wood, Bristol. In managing the procurement process, the position will be responsible for collating all relevant supporting information/documentation, chairing weekly progress meetings, authoring supporting Business Cases and contributing throughout to the tender evaluation process. You will oversee the iLog Standard Contract Template Initiative, Lead weekly iLog Standard Contract Template Progress Meeting, Provide weekly iLog Standard Contract Template updates to the iLog command team, oversee iLog Standard Contract Template Sharepoint Site, including the Excel tracking tool, Write all supporting Business Cases for each Standard Contract Template 'Lot' of NSNs. As well as track progress and resolve any emergent enquiries for all Standard Contract Template 'Lots'; liaising with MSS/SDA Commercial, Finance, Project Team Inventory Managers and Quality Assurance teams as necessary an be responsible for the efficient filing of all supporting documentation on the dedicated Sharepoint Site and any follow on activity once contract awarded. The ideal candidate will have experience in Contract letting, Experience in MoD working practices and Experience with ASPECT.
