Project Finance Manager

Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for an ACA qualified Accountant to join a fantastic Educational organisation as a Project Finance Manager. Based in London this exciting newly created opportunity is for 12 months on a fixed term contract and will work on a variety of projects across finance that draw on a strong technical or forensic accounting skills.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will assume responsibility for the processing and reporting of financial data across the organisation, using meticulous investigations to uncover information, identify irregularities in finances, streamlining and tidying existing processes as well as bringing solutions to the table for improvements. This role takes responsibility for yearend audit files and preparation of the statutory accounting draft and will support the Head of Finance in Management of the team.

In addition to the above this project focused role has plenty to immediately get involved with, i.e:
*Implementation of a new purchase order system
*Implementation of a new accounting system
*Project investigation work on existing projects such as capital grants and deferred income.

The successful candidate will be ACA qualified coming from a practice background ideally with 1-2 years' experience already within a finance function. Given the level of analysis and projects to get involved with it would be highly advantageous if you have exposure to forensic accounting. You will be inquisitive, with excellent communication skills that is keen to progress their career gaining experience in an exciting yet complex organisation.
