Their Project Finance Unit concentrates their project finance expertise into a core team which draws on the combined skills and experience of lawyers in the key areas of:

The Project Finance Unit deals with a broad range of domestic private finance initiative/public private partnerships work and has a reputation for successfully closing even the most complex deals. The Project Finance Unit banking team deals with work across a broad spread of industry sectors for clients ranging from sponsors to lending banks. The practice has advised on a broad range of infrastructure deals, both domestic and international.
Advising on the £600m financing of the acquisition of three regulated water businesses on a bridge-to-bond basis.
Advising on refinancing of two wind farm portfolios in Ireland (aggregate debt in excess of €350,000 and on financing of portfolio of 12 solar projects.
Advising on the transfer of an infrastructure loan portfolio of over 250 assets.
Advising on the establishment of a series of real estate and infrastructure debt funds and on the subsequent acquisitions of infrastructure loans.
Advising on the multi-tranched refinancing of a UK infrastructure asset including high yield and senior debt tranches.
Advising a leading infrastructure sponsor on facilities and private placements in excess of £900m.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
They are looking for a banking lawyer with infrastructure and project finance experience, ideally 3-6 PQE (or equivalent experience). Candidates should be at a leading City or US firm. It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree) with excellent written communication and drafting skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team.
