Project Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leader in CCTV/Fire and Security Systems in Kent as a Project Engineer. Working alongside the Project Manager and Technical Manager to deliver high spec projects ranging in value from £50k up to £250k

Project Engineer Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project management of works in values between £5k - £250k
  • Estimating & System Design from survey to issue of proposal
  • Works in relation to Fire Dampers, Emergency Lighting, Building Works, Fire Stopping
  • Working relationships with Sub-Contractors delivering varying aspects of the company
  • Customer liaison in order to develop the business within existing accounts
  • Technical Sales Support

Project Engineer Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven Project Management experience within commercial environment
  • Working Knowledge of Fire Systems, CCTV and Access Control
  • Experience of delivering projects outside of the security domain
  • Management skills to deliver projects
  • Understanding & Interpretation of HTM & BS standards
  • Understanding of Maintenance Service Levels, profit & loss management
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Project Engineer Qualifications:

  • Trained/Qualified in Electronics or similar industry related qualification
  • 5+ years post training experience in Fire/Security or similar industry sector
